  • Web 1.0 - was a basic informational search. Web 2.0 – basically became a dialogue, upgrading static search to include user participation Web 3.0 – semantic web will be a decision making type of search (predictions)Use example of a hotel room or rental property in a foreign country Web 1.0 – location, price, ratings if any from travel groupsWeb 2.0 – location, price, virtual tour, user ratings on more than one site – these features are not “extras” anymore. They are expectedWeb 3.0 – type in where you want to stay and pay in a few sentences. Web will search and offer you choices meeting that criteria!

Social networking websites are being used regularly by millions of people.Social media is online content created by people using highly accessible and scalable publishing technologies.
