  • Sky Bus: Suspended railway system – light weight coaches, Tramway category – Constitution of India – Art. 366 (20), Operates – parallel to existing roads – with in municipality limits – excluded from IRA. 3
  • It is:  Pollution – free  Noise – free  Economical  Air – conditioned travel 4

  • What is Sky Bus? A unique mass transit system which can be put up in any congested and crowded city within two years for ease and safe transportation, without loss of time. 6
  • Description:  Heavy 52 / 60 kg/m rails,  8m x 2m box enclosure,  supported by 1m dia columns (15m c/c),  Never collide or capsize. 7
  • Capacity:  Can carry 18000 pphpd – 72000 pphpd,  Can shift 20 ft containers for corner to corner, No other modes are capable. 8
  • Components:  Sky Way,  Sky Bogie,  Sky Coach,  Sky Station,  Traverser Arrangements. 9
  • Sky Way: Path in which Sky Bus travels, Includes concrete box – supported by piers, Two rails – appropriately fixed – to guide the bus. 10
