Hospitality and Tourism Exchange and Internship For those students or recent graduates who would like to obtain a global perspective but could not manage an extensive stay aboard, Exchange or Internship Programmes may be your way to go. Exchange Programme Exchange programme is normally designed for current students to attend school in a foreign country for a period of time. This period of time can be one semester or one academic year, varies according to the policy of individual education institutions. Many exchange programmes expect students to be able converse in the language of the new host country, at least on a basic level. Some programmes may require students to pass a standardized test for English language comprehension. Internship Programme An internship is a pre-professional work experience that provides students or recent graduates the opportunity to gain real-life experience so that they will be more confident for a permanent career commitment.
