  • 7. Chemo-prophylaxis
    • Primary- Co trimoxazole for PCP, Toxo
      • TB, Herpes, and other endemic diseases
    • Secondary- Maintenance dose after OIs
    • Improves Quality of life
    • Maintains CD4 count
    • Delays ART initiation
    • May be stopped with ART when CD4 count returns to above 400

    • Wife discarded the husband
    • After the demise of husband, wife is thrown out of the house
    • Relatives response to them
