As a unified communicator for the company Lync is great, allowing you to IM, call, video conference, and share desktops at the click of a button. Also you can immediately see if people are available to collaborate with. Dynamics AX 2012 takes advantage of that by allowing you to integrate the presence features directly into the client application so if you have business questions that need to be answered immediately, you can start the conversation without leaving the Dynamics AX client. First Make Sure That You Are LicensedThe first thing that we need to do is check that the Lync integration is licensed on your environment.
