Electronic Signatures are an extra level of security that you can place on any data transaction in the system. Before the transactions are committed the users need to verify their identity through their signature password. This is especially useful when using shared workstations, that you want to ensure that the proper people are performing transactions.

In this worked example we will show the steps that you need to follow in order to enable and use Electronic Signatures.

  • 2. Creating ASignature CertificateThe first step is to create a signature certificate for theusers that are going to be signing the transactions. To dothis, you need to access the Options from the usermaintenance screen. © 2013. All rights reserved.
  • 3. Creating ASignature CertificateAt the bottom for the General page, is an ElectronicSignature link. From there you can generate a newsigning certificate for the user. © 2013. All rights reserved.
