  • 1. The planet Jupiter by Gabriel Stephen Jennings
  • 2. Jupiter
    • Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. It has an Earth size inner core with 1,000 elephant presser. One orbit takes 4332.59 days!!
    • The red spot is 378 years old!! You can’t stand on Jupiter because theirs no surface. Hubble got a 3 moon shadow on Jupiter . Galilean moons, Io is one of the Gallian moons. Io gave birth too 197 volcanos! Europa is another Gallian moon. There may be life on Europa because it may have water.
  • 3. Galilean Moons
    • Ganymede is the largest moon of Jupiter. It is bigger than Mercury and Pluto and the size of Eris. Callisto is the last moon Galileo found. It has a size of Mercury.
  • 4. Inner moons
    • Jupiter has inner moons closer than Io. So, Thebe is one of the inner moons. So is Metis. The two moons are closer then Io.
    • So there are more moons .There are 63 moons
  • 5. Outter moons
    • Some outter moons are further than Callisto.many moons lay near the rings. Some even further! Some are close being inner moons
    • But you can discover new outter moons.
  • 6. About the moons.
    • Some of Jupiter’s moons are discovered, some are new.
    • Some are not discovered. They are not new.
    • Moons are the dots next to a planet. Jupiter has 63 moons and you can see them
  • 7. Earth compared to Jupiter
    • If you would compare Earth and Jupiter, it may be 11 times Earths volume and 11 times massive. So, that’s why it’s the largest planet
  • 8. Comparing Jupiter with the solar system.
    • Jupiter is the second largest object in the solar system, this is in order: Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars, Mercury and Pluto. The Sun is the First largest and Pluto is the last largest.
  • 9. New moons
    • Some moons are new moons. H0056 is a new moon. There are lots of new moons to discover.
  • 10. The end
    • By the way shoemaker leavy 9 hit Jupiter and its 13 times the Earth.
