We are Mrs. Muller’s Grade 3 class, your blogging buddies! How does your pinwheel work? Why did you make a pinwheel? What does the pinwheel have to do with world peace? We were wondering about your webinz? Our webkinz is Sir Isaac. Our school name is Sir Isaac Brock school so that is how he got his name. He is a black horse, and he is having a great time with us while we learn about Pioneers and Early Settlers in Canada! From your friends in Canada

techno3 Says: October 15th, 2008 at 12:27 am Hi Mrs Muller and Grade 3 class It is great to hear from you. We are very busy and doing lots of work. We made pinwheels as part of an Art Project “Pinwheels for Peace” started in 2005 by 2 American Art teachers who wanted to promote world peace. Pinwheels because they are childrens’ toys and childrens’ lives should be peaceful. Therefore we made pinwheels to celebrate World International Peace Day on 21st Sept. There is a website that we visited http://www.pinwheelsforpeace.com/theproject.htm Yes we have HarryHoppper as our new webkinz but he is not yet set up. He will be on our blog soon. He will be learning about our Gold rush in the 1860s. We know Canada had a gold rush and you may be able to help us. Catch you soon. Miss Starling and the Year 3 students
