BACK TO SERVICES ABOUT THE SERVICE The Municipal Government of San Simon, Pampanga, through the Municipal Human Resource Management Office (MHRMO), aims to maintain/produce a group of individuals which are highly competent, professional and well motivated employees. Acquired thru through selection, evaluation and screening process based on merit and aptness, bringing out a corps/body of excellent service oriented government workers. The MHRMO takes responsibility for the management of personnel functions that maintains linkages with the Civil Service Commission as the Central Personnel agency of the government for the proper implementation of its policies related to Human Resources Management. Vacant Item Positions are posted in the bulletin board located at the lobby at the Municipal Hall building and the Civil Service Commission Field Office. Anyone who meets the qualification standards for vacant position may submit application to the MHRMO for review and evaluation. The Personnel Selection Board (PSB) screens applicants. The PSB consists of: • Municipal Mayor (Chairman) • Sangguniang Panlungsod (Chairman of the Committee on Appropriations) • Department Head of the Department which has the vacancy • 2nd or 1st level representative • Municipal HRM Officer (Ex-Officer, Secretariat)

  • 12. BACK TO SERVICES ABOUT THE SERVICE PESO provides employment assistance to job seekers through referral. Career guidance and counseling are also offered to assist the applicants in going about the recruitment process in different companies. The office offers interview tips and guides on writing resumes or applicant letters, among others. It also assists clients in choosing the position/job that will match their abilities and interests. REQUIREMENTS Curriculum Vitae/Resume with 2” x 2” picture AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (NO Noon Break)

  • 17. BACK TO SERVICES ABOUT THE SERVICE PESO assists employers by conducting preliminary screening of applicants and referring to them applicants who meet their set standards. This service is FREE OF CHARGE. Employers may call or visit PESO to post job vacancies. Job vacancies are posted and distributed every Monday. REQUIREMENTS • Name and address of the company • Person to whom the referral letter will bf e addressed • Contact number/Company’s telephone number • Brief description of the company/Nature of business (if possible, please provide a copy of the company’s profile or brochure) • Job vacancies/Positions • Number of persons to be hired • Nature of job/Area of assignments • Qualification requirements of applicants • List of necessary papers to be submitted by applicants

The office makes sure that these agencies are authorized by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration(POEA). It also monitors the status of workers placed overseas. They may use the facilities and equipment of the office, and may request for staff support. This service is offered FREE OF CHARGE. REQUIREMENTS • Provide Recruitment Authority (PRA) • Confirmed Job Order/s from principal employer/s Note : Both must be duly approved by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration(POEA). AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (NO Noon Break)

Overseas Placement Agencies must notify the PESO of their desire to conduct hiring for abroad by forwarding the required Agency documents. 2. Conduct recruitment activities. The facilities and equipment of the PESO are provided FREE OF CHARGE. To maximize the number of applicants, agencies are encouraged to advertise in various local media. Renato Cortez PESO Manager 3. BACK TO SERVICES ABOUT THE SERVICE THE SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENTS(SPES) aims to help poor but deserving students and out-of-school youth in pursuing their education by encouraging their employment during summer vacation. It was created under Republic Act 7323, enacted on March 30, 1992. The program is conducted every year. Participants are assigned to work in SPES registered private establishments, government institutions and departments. Work duration is a minimum of 30 days but not more than 60 days. Participants are entitled to at least a minimum wage. Said wage is being paid solely by the Local Government Unit; Applications are screened at the Public & Employment Service Office. Students and out-of-school youth applying under SPES must meet the following criteria: • 15 to 25 years old • Enrolled during the present school year/seminar immediately preceding the summer vacation or a drop-out who intends to enroll again • Parents’ net income after tax does not exceed P 36,000 per annum • No failing grades

BACK TO SERVICES REQUIREMENTS • Resume with ID pictures -3 copies • Any of the following to attest to the student-applicant’s age: • Birth or Baptismal certificate • Joint affidavit of 2 disinterested parties • Any of the following to attest to the student-applicant’s rating: • Form 138 • Certification by the School Registrar that the student has passed during the previous semester or school year • Certified true copy of the student’s class card where the passing grade could be determined • Any of the following to attest to the student’s family income: • Latest Income Tax Return of the parents/guardian • Certification from the employer/union president that the parent/ guardian of the applicant to be displaced or has been displaced • Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Certification that the parents do not file Tax Returns
