Unit 78 digital graphics for computer games

  1. 1. Unit 78 Digital Graphics for Computer Games By Chris Munro
  2. 2. Photorealism• Photorealism graphics are essentially computer generated graphics/images/models/textures that look realistic.
  3. 3. Cell Shading• Cell shading isn’t mean to look realistic it’s a unique style that’s gives the effect that the graphic has been hand drawn.
  4. 4. Abstraction• The abstraction style often employs a lot of lines and geometric shapes that dont resemble any real-life objects. Abstraction style is best suited and found in a lot of retro games.
  5. 5. Exaggeration• This style is usually adapted from anime/manga, the style is over top and not realistic. This gives the game a fun factor.
