Sketchbook Sketchbook Presentation Transcript

  • The centre picture was drawn using a black pen/biro. To get the texture of the lizard I did a lot ofcross hatching lines with the pen. The rest of the background was drawn using a 2B pencil, withlight and dark shading.
  • This is just some images of research into the ‘Creatures’ which is the title of theproject.
  • This was created using watercolours, Im not very good at using water colours but I tried my bestTo blend colours together, I ‘dabbed’ the brush on the paper to try and create a feathery affect. View slide
  • I really like this piece of work, its probably my favourite. This was my first time using oil pastelsbut I adapted to them easily, I found the colours blended easily and I kept mixing/layering theColours until I got exactly what I wanted. View slide
  • This is another research page of imaged focusing on birds. There is also another pen study of abird which Was used in my stop motion animation.
  • Here or further pen studies the top study of the Hawk was done using Fine liner pens of differentThicknesses. The bottom study was done using normal pens or two different colours blue andblack.
  • Here are my pencil studies of various creatures (birds, reptiles and insects. I tried to create asMuch detail as I could by using different tones and shades of pencils.
