being kept captive.
All they know are the
cave and the shadows
(inexistant choices)

A prisoner is set free, in search of enlightenment .
He discovers that his life has been one of deception.
Truth must be experienced rather than told because language fails to convey belief.
The ultimate goal of education is to move us out of the cave, out of the darkness.

Life is a dream
Perception generally leads to deception.
Power and fear determine the shape of human character and destiny.
Free will conflicts the choice of human destination.
