Green and participatory mapping? Why worry? We have a global environmental crisis. We need to achieve 80% cuts in CO2 emissions by 2050 to avoid seriously damaging and irreversible climate change. So why worry about making green maps?

Green Mapping in London - the story so far (1) The London Green Map London 21 was set up to act as a net work for those working on local sustainability This involves a huge range of issues and organisations Some form of information system was vital This led to the idea of a Green Map, launched five years ago as the world’s first interactive ‘Green Map’
