  • 4. How do I get a job?• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering – ABET accreditation• A masters degree qualifies you to teach in schools• University of Iowa: $93,502 for 4 years of schooling• Stanford University: $235,384 for 4 years of schooling
  • 5. Other requirements• MUST be licensed – Fundamentals of Engineering Exam – Professional Engineering Exam
  • 6. Typical Workday• Develop safety procedures for use of chemicals• Test products and troubleshoot problems• Conduct research• Make processes faster and more efficient
