Michelle Alspaugh commented on IB English Written Commentary I’m not the IB 12 teacher, so I don’t recall specifically. I think you have two hours. For paper 1, I think you get a choice between poem or prose or something else. For paper 2, I think it’s a more broad question where you’re supposed to write from your whole curriculum from the two years. It’s more AP-ish in format. (ex: Titles are significant. Comment upon at least 4 works in which the title has offered an illuminative glance a the author’s purpose.) 8 months ago
