    • LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB By Chris Lee
    • What is Liverpool FC? • Liverpool FC is a very successful professional soccer team in the highest level league in England, the Barclays Premier League. Liverpool was founded in 1892 nearly 122 years ago! Their home field is called Anfield and it can hold 45,522 fans in the stadium! That is a huge amount.
    • How Successful Are Liverpool Liverpool Football Club is one of the most legendary teams ever to exist. Liverpool FC is an English team in the Barclays Premier League. Liverpool has won the most cups in England with winning 5 European cups, 3 EUFA cups, and 3 super cups. The club has also won 18 league titles, 7 FA Cups, and 8 league cups.
    • Who Are Liverpool’s Biggest Rivals? • I personally think that Liverpool’s biggest rivals are Manchester United. In every game they play against each other, they play aggressive, they never give up, and move the ball well. Here is a timeline of some of the games they played against each other…
    • Fixtures Against Each Other Liverpool Wins Draws Manchester United Wins League 54 44 63 FA Cup 4 4 9 League Cup 3 0 2 Other 2 3 1 Total 63 51 75
    • Liverpool FC’s Derby • Now we’re on to Liverpool’s derby, Everton. A derby is when there are two or more teams in the same city/town. This particular derby is called the Merseyside derby. The last time these two teams played it was a very exciting game to watch. The final score was 3-3 just because of an amazing header by an amazing player Daniel Sturridge in the dyeing seconds of stoppage time.
    • 3 Important Players From the Past and Present • Robbie Fowler • Ian Rush • Steven Gerrard
    • Robbie Fowler • Robbie Fowler is an Outstanding player who plays striker and his nationality is English. His first team club was in the academy team for Liverpool. As his ranks in the academy got up, he finally got a contract with Liverpool on April 9, 1992. Robbie Fowler still holds a record today since 1994 against Arsenal scoring the fastest ever hat-trick in Premier League history. He scored his hat-trick in 4 minutes and 33 seconds and helped Liverpool win the game.

    • Ian Rush • Ian Rush was very successful at Anfield. If I were to describe him in one word for his entire career it would be GOALS. He scored 346 of them for Liverpool in 660 games. He signed for Liverpool in 1980 and his debut for them was in December 13, 1980. He is a Welshmen and played for 8 different clubs. The crowd of Anfield Stadium loved him.

    • Steven Gerrard • Steven Gerrard is the number 8 on Liverpool still plays for Liverpool but he has brought many happy moments to Liverpool. The most memorable moment that I think was for Steven Gerrard was when he started the comeback against AC Milan 3-0 down at half in the Uefa Champions League finals and tied 3-3 as you saw in the video. Liverpool still won at Istanbul in penalty shoot out. Steven Gerrard is the captain for Liverpool and also has the hour of being captain for his international team, England. He has played 651 career games for his team Liverpool.
