Your First Day Of Computers Class

  1. 1. Welcome to Computers Class with Ms. Wanshon! Please read these rules carefully and share them with your parents. This assignment is due your second day of class, tomorrow! After you have read the classroom procedures, sign your name to the bottom and also have your parents sign and then turn this in for your first grade. Good luck! 1. It’s all about Respect . Respect all adults, respect school property, respect each other and yourself. 2. Raise your hand if you wish to speak. 3. Contribute to your education and the others who are in your class, participate , use great effort , be helpful, be safe . 4. You will be tardy if you should have to leave class because you were not prepared or you are not in your seat doing “bell work” when the bell rings. 5. No late work will be accepted and there are very few opportunities for extra credit. You are responsible young people and in the future your boss will not accept late work and neither will I. 6. If you are absent it is your job to find out what you missed. Consult the assignment board and then come see me on your own time (homeroom, lunch, after school, not during class time) I will be happy to help you out, but it is your responsibility to take the initiative. 7. This class is run like a democracy and a family. Respect others and take care of yourself and do not infringe on other peoples rights. 8. All other major rules are covered in your student handbook , I know them and you should too. 9. Games … This is a computers/history class. The only games you will be allowed to play are history/educational games. I have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to playing games in class. There are certain sites you may play games on, any other game sites are prohibited. You may get one warning, after that you will not be allowed to use the computer for the rest of the hour. Please get out a piece of paper to answer the following questions……..
