  • 10. Write for Hubbell points!
    • Writing an article for ImPRessions is a great way to get published and have some material for your portfolio.
    • Also, for a submission to ImPRessions you will receive 2 Hubbell points.
    • The deadline for the November issue is Thursday, October 23.

    • National Conference registration has been moved back to October 1!
    • The PRSSA National Conference is in Detroit this year and is running from Oct 24-28.
    • The registration fee is $275.
    • Register by going to, clicking on "2008 National Conference" then clicking on "Register".
  • 12. Edelman
    • Edelman interviews on Friday. Good luck to those seniors participating!
    • Attention juniors- Interested in hearing about Edelman's internship opportunities from John Edelman himself? We have 6 spots open.
    • Requirements: Must me a junior active in PRSSA. If we have more than 6 members sign up, the 6 with the most Hubbell Points will be asked to participate.
    • When: Friday, October 3rd at 2 p.m.
    • Where: 308 CAS
    • Dress business!
  • 13. Homecoming Parade
    • Participate in the MSU Homecoming Parade!!
    • The parade is at 6pm Friday, October 3
    • We will be meeting at Aubrey's house on Forest Street by 4:15 to find our staging area.
    • This is a fun, easy way to earn Hubbell Points.
    • Please stay after the meeting for 5 minutes to finish the logistics.
  • 14. ATTENTION: Those Registered for National Conference
    • For those of you that are registered for the National Conference please stay after and meet with the E-board to figure out how many PR Stars are attending, rides, lodging, etc.
  • 15. PR Boot Camp
    • Join the PRSA Detroit Student Development Committee
    • for our first PR Boot Camp
    • Your drill sergeants for this training session are PR experts that will lead you though a series of tactical exercises designed to get you field ready.

    • Stress, Anxiety and Depression are big issues on campus.
    • Help the Residence Halls Association plan an event to address these issues.
