Young Media Stars Case Study Competition Hosted by Starcom MediaVest Group
Do you think you have what it takes to work in Media Strategy and Investment? Want to work with brands you know and love?
Attend SMG's first ever case study competition October 15-17 for a chance to win a trip to Chicago, tour SMG offices and learn first hand about careers in media.
The competition kicks off with a Media Strategy and Investment workshop on Wednesday, October 15 at 6 p.m. at 119 Eppley Center to educate students about the fundamentals of connecting consumers with brands via media. The competition is open to all students in their junior or senior year.
Students interested in participating in the competition should attend the workshop on October 15 as it is not necessary to register prior to the beginning of the competition.
Among the many outstanding offerings at this year's Conference is the chance to observe the PR ApPRentice competition, 10 a.m.- noon, Friday, Oct. 24.
The competition is a Regional Activity hosted by Eastern Michigan University that simulates the Bateman Case Study Competition and Donald Trump's hit reality TV show "The Apprentice.“
You are the audience as Michigan students present their campaigns to the client, Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, the largest foster care agency in Michigan. Proposals will use new, creative ideas, within a $20,000 budget, to increase awareness of the need for more foster care parents and mentors in Michigan. Winners of this event will receive $500 and a trophy for their Chapter!
This session has a maximum capacity of 250 and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to consider it as you make your Conference plans.
