  2. 2. 1. Connect the SMART Response receiver<br />You can choose to start an Anonymous class within SMART Response Teacher Tools since you will later choose a class from within your Study Island management options<br />
  3. 3. 2. Login to Study Island and select the chosen content area<br />
  4. 4. 3. Click “Start Studying” and select “Classroom Response Systems”<br />
  5. 5. 4. Select “SMART Response” from the list of available options<br />It is critical that you are using SMART Response 2010 Version 3.0 (run your updates if you are not using this)<br />
  6. 6. 5. Choose the number of questions to answer and begin<br />If you are polling anonymously the “Pad ID” will not be relevant<br />
