  • Today we’re going to talk about what a modified version of the Flipped Classroom model might look like in your library and how to get students involved in participatory culture projects that help to give them some ownership of your library program so that they end of promoting the library for you. I recognize that they are two distinct concepts, but they just sort of came together for me last year in a way that complimented each other very nicely. I want to share a little about that and what it looked like. –Intro— <br /> …I was teaching the same things I’d always taught in the library except that now it was all being taught out of context. I felt like we were taking a big step backwards, but I was hoping something good would come of it. <br />
  • Going from a completely flexible schedule to a fixed schedule presented some challenges for me that any of you could have warned me about. But it was all new to me and I had to discover these things for myself. Feel free to just sit and nod your heads as you recognize these issues you’ve been dealing with for years. <br />
