    • 107 Act 3 Scene 1 January 2, 2012  Warm up: Complete MSA practice question and explain your answer. Glue into your spiral.  Today’s objective is to read and discuss Act 3, Scene 1, identify important lines, and create dramatic poses that show those lines by creating “living sculptures.”
    • 107 While you read Make a list of the important actions in Act 3 Scene 1. Which one do you think is the climax or turning point? Why?
    • 108 Living Statues  For Act 3 Scene 1 you are going to create a living sculpture of the section of the scene assigned to your group. You must first read your section and character.  Then choose the key lines you think capture the section of your scene. Like frozen statues you will arrange yourselves in an appropriate opening snapshot. Then one at a time each actor will come to life, speak your line, change position, and refreeze for the next sculpture to come to life.
    • Living Sculptures (Day 2) January 3, 2012 Warm up: Meet in your groups to finish choosing you lines and practice for your presentation. Today’s objective is to present our “living sculptures.”
    • Rubric 2 points Group effort--all members worked together and spoke a line. 3 points Appropriateness of lines chosen for each character 10 points Organization, clarity, and effectiveness of living sculpture
