1. 1. PHILIPPINE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM DURING THE JAPANESE PERIOD Presentation by: DE GUZMAN, MIA MILAGROS T. II-17 BSE ENGLISH PROF J. FERRER
2. 2. GAME!! REMEMBER?? HANDOUTS FOR TODAY’S LESSON WERE GIVEN BEFOREHAND. IT CONTAINED CONCEPTS ( NAMES OF PEOPLE, EVENTS, DATES, PLACES, ETC.)
3. 3.  THAT WAS INTENTED FOR TODAY’S GAME!!!
4. 4. CODENAME: J.M.M. MIA’S JAPANESE MICKEY STORE
5. 5. MECHANICS:  The class will be DIVIDED into 3 GROUPS. -- Each group will be given SIX PIECES OF 100 JAPANESE MICKEY PAPER BILLS.
6. 6. MECHANICS:  The class will be given A SET OF QUESTIONS with 3 ITEMS per team. OBVIOUSLY, you have to answer each question correctly!
7. 7. MECHANICS:  Sounds easy right? -- WRONG! THE CATCH? o EACH question COSTS either 100, 200, or 300 J.M. bills. o If your group answer the question correctly, you get to keep your money. o If not… YOU HAVE TO PAY UP!!!
8. 8. MECHANICS: 1 - 2 2 - 3 3 – 1 GETS??
9. 9. MECHANICS:  PLUS!!:  The other groups will be given a chance to steal. If the answer is correct, the facilitator/faci (that’s me!) will reward that group additional cash bonus. However, if the answer is incorrect, they will have to give back the amount given to them by the other group.
10. 10. Goal: BE THE GROUP WIWTH THE MOST AMOUNT OF MONEY LEFT AT THE END OF THE GAME… TO WIN!!!!! ( winners will receive plus points for the quiz!)
