1. 1. Global warming
By: Billy Tascarella and Phil Bohner
2. 2. The greenhouse, climate, and global warming
Greenhouse gases trap infrared radiation keeping the lower levels of the atmosphere hot and the upper ones cold.
Climate change is a change in weather patterns and seasonal changes
Global warming is the heating of the earth over a long period of time
3. 3. How there related
Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere causing global warming
Global warming then causes the climate changes
4. 4. What causes global warming?
Global warming is a gradual increase in planet wide temperature caused by the greenhouse gases
5. 5. Consequences
Weather patterns change
Melting glaciers and rising sea levels
Some wildlife could become extinct
6. 6. Impact on the economy
We have to use less oil to try and stop global warming and that would cause a lot of people to lose jobs
Extreme weather will impact our economy if we have to pay to clean up the aftermath
7. 7. Fighting global warming
Don’t use as much water if u have to don’t use hot water use cold water
Recycle and save energy
Use less fossil fuels you could carpool or ride a bike or walk
8. 8. Against global warming
Some scientist say that global warming is natural and the Earth tends to heat up or cool down every once in a while.
Satellite imaging shows no signs of global warming
Global climate computer models can not predict future climate changes
global warming of a modest amount of global warming would benefit the Earth
9. 9. My opinion
Billy's opinion
I don’t think humans play a big part in global warming
I think its natural
Phil's opinion
I think humans have something to do with it
I believe it’s a combination of humans effect and earths natural heating
