  • 1. Global Warming
By: Felicia Marsala, Evan Koch, and Austin Radzai
  • 2. Greenhouse Effect-
The heating of Earth’s surface and atmosphere from solar radiation being absorbed and emitted by the atmosphere, mainly by water vapor and carbon dioxide.
    Climate Change-
A long-term change in the Earth’s climate, especially a change due to an increase in the average atmosphere temperatures
    Global Warming-
The increase in average temperatures to Earth and the atmosphere due in part to increased carbon dioxide levels
What is the Greenhouse Effect, Climate Change, and Global Warming?
  • 3. How are Greenhouse Effect, Climate Change, and Global Warming related?
    Relation-
    Deal with temperatures
    Earth’s surface
    How Earth surface heats
    Long-term affects of atmosphere
  • 4. Human activity is indicated as one of the major causes for G.W.
Carbon dioxide such as burning coal, oil or gas
    Earth’s average temperature change
    Difference between weather and climate
    Primary Causes of Global Warming
  • 5. World’s temperature is going to increase
Ocean water will eat up land and rise
Deserts has more frequent droughts and are expanding
    Frequent tropical storms and hurricanes
Wildlife and species that don’t survive in war habitats
Possible Consequences if We don’t Work to Stop Global Warming
  • 6. Increase of storms=cost money to fix up items that are very expensive
    Taxes
In the future, the energy cost will increase
    Global Warming Impacting Economy
  • 7. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Use less heat and air conditioner
    Drive less and drive smart
    Use the “OFF” switch
Several Way to Fight Global Warming
  • 8. Humans caused it to happen
    Naturally happened
    Political issue
    Basic Arguments Against Global Warming
  • 9. Austin: it’s getting more serious and people need to start making changes
Felicia: people should try to reduce pollution and go green
Evan: it’s a natural cycle but with people inserting pollution its not helping
    Personal Opinions about Global Warming
