  • 5. 26,500-30,000 children die each day due to poverty...
  • 6. Less than 1% of what the world spent every year on weapons Was needed to put every child into school by the year 2000
  • 7. Yet... It didn't happen
  • 8. What is being done?
    • People make foundations where they receive donations and have volunteers to work with the poor
    • Many people donate money to those foundations
    • People raise awareness
    • Charities raise money and loan micro-finances to people who can’t afford loans from banks
  • 9. What WE can do
    • Raise awareness by making presentations like this and putting them on the internet
    • Give money to charities and poverty foundations
    • Give things you no longer need or want to the poor
