They got Sniffer dogs were barking because they couldn’t find the missing people. 17,000 people had to be housed in tents. This earthquake wasn’t as bad as the earthquake in Onna. The earthquake in Onna lost at least 40 residents. Before the ground shook the rod ripped and the 16 century statue was shattered. The prime minister Silvio Berlusconi said that the reconstructions will be quick. There was about a death in every house. They dint have much money to rebuild everything. By: Steven Brower

  • 6. Most Ironic A US Airway jet crashed in to the Hudson River Between Manhattan and New Jersey. A flock of bird got caught in the engine. The plane had 155 people that survive the crash for the pilot Chesley B. Sullenburger 3rd. The plane took off at LaGuardia Airport and less then minute later the pilot reported double bird strike. The pilot recommended that to make an emergency landing in the river. They consider that Chesley B. Sullenburger is a hero for making a perfect landing in the river to save everyone on the plane. If it was not for him everyone on the plan could died of would be hurt. The plane landed in icy water that it be almost impossible to survive. The pilot was also hero also for checking the whole plane twice to find anyone else on board. By, Matthew Iacona Plane Crash In the Hudson
  • 7. Most Upseting A-ROD ADMITS, REGRETS USE OF PEDS Alex Rodriguez a New York Yankee third base man toke performance-enhancing drugs (PEDS). He toke them when he was with the Texas Ranger in 2001-2003. They don’t know if he toke them the three years with the rangers, but they know that he did not take them with New York Yankee. Most likely he will not get the home record. He will get it but since he toke PEDS they will give him a star next to his name so people don’t give him credit like they did to Barry bonds. The results of the PEDS was that AROD did not get a punishment. By: Brandon Temperino
