All of a sudden, I can’t see the clouds or blue sky

Awaiting my Love Bird snack

Lots of Jamaicans with me going to Toronto

Very alert. Not sleeping yet.

But tired. Journey long

Four hours to Toronto. Got my snack though.

I am about 32,000 ft from earth

I am above the clouds…not scared though. Just amazed.

This is the plane to Montreal.

Getting real dark. Evening time now. Got corn chips and Sprite.

This plane has no Jamaicans. No black person apart from me.

Lot’s of business executive looking people. (Not sleepy)

This is the much smaller plane to Charlottetown

Everybody reading. Newspaper or book.

Had to put on my coat from Montreal. Really Chilly.

It is completely night. After 9:30. Want to sleep

My last plane for the night.

The Bed! I am at my destination

Put up my suit. Took out my pajamas

Put down my bags and suit carrier

Towels and rags laid out for me.

But no bath tonight. Everybody gone to sleep. Don’t want to wake them.

And now for the warm and inviting sheets. Good night, lights out.
