  • 2. Geography Finland it is the eighth largest country in Europe. It is situated on the northern Europe.
  • 3. Climate Finland has a humid and cool continental climate. In winter the temperatures down to -30ºC, and in summer up to 30ºC.
  • 4. Language The native language of most of population is Finnish.
  • 5. Flag The flag is made of two colours white and a blue cross.
  • 6. Inhabitants
      Finland has got 5,359,156 inhabitants.
  • 7. Capital and other cities The capital of Finland it's Helsinki the most visited. But they are also very popular cities such us Tampere, Turku and Rovaniemi.
  • 8. Monuments to visit If you visit Finland, you will see the castle of Suomenlinna or the Santa Claus's House.
  • 9. Food Some typical dishes of Finland are the meat of moose or of reindeer, but the most typical is the grilled sausages.
  • 10. Famous people One famous person is a man called Aki Kaurismäki, a literature writer.
