  • Keep the text and pictures simple. No need to over do it.
  • Kepp text to a minimum and just a few words. Let the presenter do the talking not the slide.
  • Minimal slide effects as they can be distracting.
  • No distorted or pixelated images.
  • Don’t use default themes. Everyone has seen them.
  • Use charts that relate and make a point.
  • Use eye pleasing colors.
  • Make sure font is readable: Good size and appropriate color.
  • Use video and audio for more entertaining slide. But not on all slides, just a few.
  • Make sure slides are organized and structured properly. Make sense.
