The European union has many countries belonging to it.
Such as:- Austria Belgium Czech Republic France and Spain.
Germany and France set up the E.U after world war two.
The U.K and other countries joined the European after and there are still more joining this year.
The E.U is a family of democratic European countries committed to working together for peace and prosperity.
When the UK joined in 1973 it soon took charge of meetings.
The leader is elected every 5 years.
