    • What is the E.U? The E.U is a partnership in which countries help each other in the benefit of all their citizens.
    • How did the E.U start? In 1957 six countries-Belgium, France, West Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands signed the treaty of Rome to form the European Union.
    • Spain Spain has around 40,460,000 people living there. The capital of Spain is Madrid. The currency Spain use is the Euro.
    • What is Spain Famous for? Spain is famous for bull fighting, flamenco dancing, their football and their sunny weather and nice beaches.
    • The main industry in Spain There is a thriving tourist industry in the warm south and east coasts. Tourists buying local products such as lace, leather goods and pottery have helped these craft industries to survive.
    • Austria In 1995 Austria joined the European Union. With the entry of 10 new member states , the E.U started to shift eastwards.
    • What Austria is Famous For? Austria is very famous for it’s skiing and the Alp mountains. They also have a football team.
