      • The Arctic Tundra is a
      • cold, vast, treeless area of low,
      • swampy plains in the far north around the Arctic Ocean.
  • 4. Lapland, and Scandinavia, Alaska, and Canada cover Arctic Tundra.
  • 5. Alpine Tundra is a biome that exists at the tops of high mountains.
  • 6. Permafrost is permanently frozen subsoil.
  • 7. Three types of animals in the Arctic Tundra are Arctic foxes, caribou, and grey wolves.
