The Awesome Tundra Project By: Andrew S.
Two kinds of tundra are Alpine and Arctic Tundra.
The Arctic is a cold, vast, treeless area of low, swampy plains in the far north around the Arctic Ocean.
Some areas the Arctic Tundra covers are Lapland, Siberia, Alaska and Canada.
Alpine Tundra is tundra that is treeless because of high elevation rather than high latitude.
Permafrost is perennially frozen subsoil.
Three tundra animals are Arctic Fox, Polar Bears, and wolves.
