Paul Revere was a patriot known for warning colonists that the British were coming. He was born in Boston in 1735 and lived in a busy house with 11 siblings. As a teenager, he attended school and wanted to become a silversmith. Some of his key accomplishments included warning colonists about the advancing British army and supplying the American forces during the Revolutionary War. He is celebrated for his heroic actions on the night of April 18, 1775 riding through the towns of Massachusetts to warn them of the British advance.
