  2. 2. We all have different ways of defining what makes up ‘thegood life’. This is because we possess different worldviews.Our world views are made up of our basic beliefs about theworld around us and ourselves.We may not be conscious of these basic beliefs but we allhave them. Our world view is more than just our set ofvalues, because it is concerned with ultimate orfoundational questions.Think for a moment of a tree. Its very life is dependent uponthe nourishment delivered to its trunk ,branches and leavesthrough its roots.A WORLD VIEW IS THE ROOT, THE SOURCE, FROM WHICHOUR THOUGHTS, VALUES, ACTIONS AND FEELINGS SPRING.
