    • Imagine that we have been traveling from a distant place and have landed in Texas.
    • As your Captain, I need to decide where to settle our colony.
  • 12. The Mission
    • I will assign you to groups of 3 or 4 members
    • You will investigate the regions of Texas.
    • Finally, you will recommend in which region to settle and present your findings to all members and groups in the room.

    • Each group will decide on a Group Leader.
    • The Group Leader has much responsibility and thus:
      • Will personally receive extra credit if the group performs well
      • Will personally lose extra points if the group fails to do well

    • The Group Leader will use the Group Leader’s Log to monitor the mission’s success (total of 40 minutes)

    • Regional Guides

    • Manila Folder
    • Glue Sticks/Map Pencils

Neat Portfolio with all Regional Guides 15 pts TOTAL POINTS 100 pts.
