  • As parents, we may not always know when a bully strikes our innocent kids. And sometimes, they might just keep their mouth shut about what happened, or they may even ask for help but nobody would bother for the reason that the bully might include him or her on his list. I'm a mother of a 12-year old son who is quite an introvert and I'm afraid that some bullies might do something on him anytime and in anyway. Luckily, read an article about like an on-star for phone that has been working perfectly for me and my son. With just a click of a button, you get conferenced with an emergency response agent, a list of people in your so called-safety network, and can even get escalated to the nearest 911. This is just a perfect way to let me know and let the authorities know that bullying is becoming rampant in certain areas. read it from this article, http://www.emergencymgmt.com/emergency-blogs/tips/mobiletrec-safekids-052211.html and you can check the app here: http://Safekidzone.com/

  • 1. The Effects of Bullying on Children Christina Carter Magnet
  • 2. My topic is important to me because…
    • It affects anywhere from nine to fifty-four percent of all children throughout the world
    • The statistics are increasing everyday
    • This issue really needs to be stopped
  • 3. What is bullying?
    • Being tormented by either physical, emotional, or psychological means
    • Having feelings of depression and anxiety from being abused by other people
    • Always feeling like you are the target
  • 4. My thesis states that being bullied can…
    • Make a child become an anti-social person
    • Cause the bullied child to become the bully
    • Make the child feel like the only thing they can do is commit suicide
  • 5. What is anti-social?
    • Having low self-esteem which is a feeling of being a failure in life or that they are not good enough as a person.
    • Anxiety. A serious disorder that causes nervousness, fear, uneasiness, and worrying in a human being
    • Becoming a loner which makes you undesired of seeking any types of social connections.
  • 6. Why does a person become an anti-social?
    • After years of being bullied they lose their self confidence
    • They also start to have feelings of not being good enough for anything or anyone
    • They feel like they don’t fit in anywhere
  • 7. Why become the bully?
    • As a way to fight back
    • The child is tired of always being the “target”
    • They feel like this is the only way that they can stand up for themselves
  • 8. What is Bullycide?
    • Bullycide is when a person is pretty much bullied to death
    • The child becomes extremely depressed
    • Being bullied makes the child feel like the only thing that will end the torment is to end their life
  • 9. Conclusion
    • Bullying is something that has a strong effect on the way a person chooses to live their life.
    • I think that something really needs to be done about all of the bullying that occurs in schools throughout the world.
    • Children need to learn at a young age that bullying other kids is not acceptable and should never be an issue.
