  • 2. It is a combination of psychological, physiological and behavioral reactions.
    events or situations that cause them to feel tension, pressure or negative emotion such as anxiety.
    what is stress?
  • 3. random angry outburst
    gray hair/ hair loss
    memory problems
    inability to concentrate
    sleeping too little or too much
    Symptoms of stress
  • 4. There are many things that can trigger stress, these things are called stressors.
    Stressors can include any of the following:
    • Problems at work
    • 5. Problems at home
    • 6. Problems at school
    • 7. Daily hassles
    How does stress get triggered?
  • 8. Stressors in the work area
    Not being able to reach a certain deadline.
    Dealing with angry customers (depending on the job)
    Problems with co-workers
    Excessive workload
  • 9. Paying bills on time
    Teenagers who don’t cooperate with their parents
    Pregnancies
    Marriage/spousal problems
    Stressors at home
  • 10. Failing classes
    Dealing with bullies
    Completing projects & homework assignments by the deadline
    Making sure you are staying on top of your studies
    Stressors in school
