What happened to the Web Geeks? • Now they make applications that allow anyone to publish content on the internet very easily. Web applications not webpages and websites. • And they are making millions and billions doing it... youtube 1.65 billion

So What is Web 2.0? • The web applications (kinda like web sites) that allow users to be both readers and also writers. •Examples ★Schoolwires (web page publishing & more) ★Youtube, Google Video, Teacher Tube (video publishing) ★ Flickr, Photobucket, Shutterﬂy (image publishing) ★ Slideshare (powerpoint publishing) ★ Google Calendar (calendar publishing)
