  • 1. My Memories 1960’s-1970’s By: Samantha Baca June 16, 2008 Period 5
  • 2. This is the house I grew up in with my mother, father and siblings. It had a great back yard and we would always play hide and seek. 1974
  • 3. This is our family portrait. From the left me, top left my father my brother Jeff, lower left my sister Suzy and bottom middle is my mother. 1975
  • 4. Cheerleading I loved cheerleading in high school. We would go to competitions and during games we would cheer for the football and basketball players. We had a blast when we would do half time shows. It was a great experience. 1976
  • 5. Basketball I was number 19 on the basketball team and I loved playing with all my friends and competing against others. This was my brother when he played basketball. He also enjoyed playing with his team and competing.
  • 6. My favorite Barbie Doll.. The first Barbie doll was made in the 1960’s and my father bought me one for my birthday.
  • 7. Hairstyles These are some of the hairstyles that women have done and this is also how my mother did my hair.
  • 8. Bob Marley was one of my favorite reggae singers. He always had a lot of fans at his concerts, I wish I was able to go to at least one but I wasn’t.
  • 9. Musicals and T.V shows The sound of music and The Flintstones were my favorite shows to watch. I loved to sing along with the movie. I also loved bam bam in The Flintstones.
  • 10. Muhammad Ali He was someone who was remembered after he died and I loved watching him box on the t.v.
  • 11. Music Elvis Presley Jerry Lee Lewis James Brown Jimi Hendrix
  • 12. Maya Angelo You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don't make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can't take their eyes off you. Maya Angelo had many poems and they were very inspirational.
  • 13. Children's Books These two books were my favorite to read when I was little.
  • 14. Inventions The first cash dispensing machine is installed by First Philadelphia Bank in 1968.
