  1. 1. • You are allowed to take an A4 Plan Sheet into the final write-up to help you • There is a limit of 250 words • The purpose of the Resource Sheet is to give the marker an idea of what you planned to do when writing the essay • You must submit this sheet with your final assignment. Failing to do will cost you ten marks.
  2. 2. • Your A4 resource sheet will look like this. • Follow the instructions on the previous slide about what you can include. • Check with your teacher than your final resource sheet is acceptable.

What you can include • A plan which outlines all the factors you will discuss • Detail these factors in the order you intend to discuss them • Include evidence to support your factors • Include historians’ quotations or views • Notes from a documentary you have watched • Details of internet search results • Sub-headings to divide different sections • Mind maps and colour can be used What you cannot include • A simple list of facts without any clear plan for what you’ll write • Your entire assignment to be copied during the write-up
