    1. Rules, Expectations, and Procedures In Mr. Larson’s Classroom
    2. Rules
      • Why do we have rules?
      • What would happen if we did not have any rules?
      • What are some of the rules you have outside of the classroom?
    3. Expectations
      • Come to class prepared and on time.
      • Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
      • Raise your hand and wait to be called on.
      • Use kind and appropriate language.
      • Be considerate of school and personal property.
    4. Consequences
      • Offense :
      • 3 Strikes your OUT!!!
      • If I have to talk to you about behavior 3 times you will be asked to leave the room (oh…and silent lunch)
      • If you do not leave in a timely manner you will be meeting with Mr. Kvande
    5. Procedures
      • Daily Assignments
        • Record tonight's homework
        • Take out history spiral
        • CNN Student News will be on.
        • Take notes!
    6. Homework
      • Homework needs to be turned in by 8AM each morning.
      • You will turn it in the correct bin.
      • You will turn it in with correct heading
      • Name
      • History 7/8 R/W
      • Mr. Larson
      • Date
      • Assignment
    7. Late work policy
      • Homework is to be turned in ON TIME
      • If work is not turned in on time, it will be lowered.
    8. Grading
      • Normal, daily assignments will be graded on a 10 point scale.
      • Group work will be worth more than daily assignments.
      • Current events quizzes and notebook checks will be worth 10 points.
      • Tests will be worth somewhere between 75-100 points.
    9. Procedures
      • Class Notes
        • Be ready
        • PowerPoint, teacher comments, notes on board, and any other relevant material

    10. Notebook
      • Keep handout in notebooks
      • Notebook checks
    11. Current Events
      • Current event quizzes
        • Every other Friday
        • Will be discussed in classroom
        • Will be taken from CNN Student News
        • Come in right away and start taking notes!

      • Do you have any questions about rules, expectations, consequences, or procedures?
