Wild Life Friends of Thailand.

What‘s WFFT?
The wfft rescue center is located behind Kao Look Chang Temple in the Petchaburi province, approximately 160 kilometers south of Bangkok .
We saves animals lives and take care of them until they are able to return to their home in the jungle.

Lets save the elephants
Thailand has a rapidly declining number of wild elephants remaining which are greatly outnumbered by their captive ones
The elephant has been used in the past to assist in logging, however since the commercial ban on logging came into effect nowadays they walk the streets of big cities to beg for food.
The Wildlife Friends offer refuge and a sustainable existence to some of these elephants.
Animal lovers get a chance to work directly with these magnificent creatures and learn about them in a hands on capacity.
so lets save the elephants

The educational programs
One of the Wildlife Friends most important objectives is the education of the local community. An educational center about Thailand's wildlife containing information about animal welfare and conservation issues is located at the center. A school program is going to be constructed and will educate lots of people about wild life.

The forest restoration project!
A new project on and around the grounds of the WFFT rescue center and Elephant Refuge. The WFFT has started to restore degraded forests and is planning to replant forests in the direct surroundings of our other projects. With a successful first year just ended, we are now aiming to plant 30,000 trees in the second your of our forest restoration project.
