  1. 1. How to Find Blood Pressure Using A Sphygmomanometer1) Attach cuff to patient, ensure stethoscope is over brachialartery.2) Raise pressure of cuff until patients pulse in patients armstops. Continue raising pressure 30 mmHg past this point.3) Slowly lower pressure in cuff until 2 consecutive heartbeats are heard. This is the systolic pressure.4) Continue to lower pressure in cuff until beats are no longerheard. This is the diastolic pressure.
