The Contour Rules <ul><li>Contour lines never cross </li></ul><ul><li>Contour lines are orange in colour </li></ul><ul><li>Contour lines are thin and faint lines on a map </li></ul><ul><li>Contour lines form a circuit </li></ul><ul><li>Contour lines are curved lines </li></ul><ul><li>If the land is steep Contour lines are close together </li></ul><ul><li>If the land if flat they are far apart </li></ul><ul><li>8. On modern maps, Contours go up in 5 metre or 10 metre intervals </li></ul>
