  2. 2. Edmodo <ul><li>Teacher controlled social networking </li></ul><ul><li>Used in my classes for current event assignments, brief writing assignments and back channel discussion </li></ul>
  3. 3. iBooks <ul><li>Almost all of our English books are on this app </li></ul><ul><li>Beautiful reader with voice capabilities (with a very creepy voice :) </li></ul>
  4. 4. Neu-annotate <ul><li>Allows students to annotate PDF documents. </li></ul><ul><li>Our English teacher has used this app for Grammar practice. </li></ul><ul><li>Students can highlight and write on PDF then email the document to their teacher. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Ihomework <ul><li>Plan book for our students </li></ul><ul><li>Offers several different features including reminders, documenting long-term assignments and breaking homework down by subject. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Dropbox <ul><li>Each student has an account to store work </li></ul><ul><li>Teachers have used the sharing feature to give out documents. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Ghost writer <ul><li>Notebook App that has been used extensively in our math classes. </li></ul><ul><li>Allows students to write, type or annotate pdf's or pictures </li></ul>
  8. 8. Pages (Word processor) <ul><li>In my class it is used for notes and essays </li></ul><ul><li>Students will often use this app for homework assignments. </li></ul><ul><li>Can email assignments from the app as well as print. </li></ul>

Everyday uses <ul><li>Students use their IPads everyday in the 6th grade. </li></ul><ul><li>Some classes it will be used simply for the plan book feature. </li></ul><ul><li>All the teachers have incorporated the IPad into their lessons in different ways. </li></ul><ul><li>Science-Camera, Keynote. Math-Ghostwriter. English-ibooks, Neu-annotate, Pages. Social Studies- Pages, Keynote, Edmodo, Dropbox. Computer class- puppet pals, video features. Language classes have utilized vocabulary building apps. Arts classes have used the camera and Pages apps. </li></ul>
