    1. Analysis Of The Tell Tale Heart. By: Rebecca Sue Beach
    2. Summary ;
              • This story is about a young man who knows an older man with an eye like an eagle that as he says haunts him and gives him horror. When Edgar realizes he cant take it anymore he cracks and spies on him and figures out how he can kill him. The heartbeat makes him lose his mind and he kills the old man. show up stay and chat, he cracks and confesses and shows them under the floorboard where But when he thinks hes slick and accomplished the police the old mans body lays.
    3. Round Character;
      • The round character in the story is Edgar Allen Poe. We know a lot about him, his feelings are expressed thoughtfully.
    4. Flat Character;
      • A flat character in the story would be the police officers. We know basically nothing about them except that they are cops.
    5. Static Character;
      • I think the static character is the old man because he never changes how he is or acts in the story.
    6. Dynamic Character;
      • The dynamic character is Edgar Allen Poe because he changes how he feels about killing the old man.
    7. Internal Conflict;
      • The internal conflict is how Edgar feels after he kills the old man; guilt.
    8. External Conflict;
      • The external conflict is Edgar yelling and screaming out loud about what is going on.
    9. P.O.V;
      • This point of view is third person.
    10. Authors Purpose;
      • The authors purpose is to entertain.
    11. Intended Audience;
      • The intended audience is high-school to adult.
    12. Context Clues;
      • Context clues in the story are object ; which in the story means to act on purpose.
    13. Predictions;
      • I predict Edgar is put in a psyche ward or prison for murdering the old man.
    14. Compare & Contrast;
      • Edgar Allen Poe is the younger guy and he has more emotions mixed up.
      • The older guy is blank and boring and dies in the end.
