  • 1. Signing up for Edmodo
  • 2. Objectives • Sign up for Edmodo • Read Terms of Service
  • 3. Open internet browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) andtype “edmodo.com” in the address bar and hit “Enter”.
  • 4. This will take you to the main page of Edmodo where youwill sign up.
  • 5. Find where it says “I’m a Student” and click on it.
  • 6. This will bring you to the “Student Sign Up” page.
  • 7. Fill in the Group Code given to you by your teacher.
  • 8. Choose a Username you will remember. The user namemust be unique and something you will remember.
  • 9. Edmodo will let you know if your Username is available. You willnot be able to continue until you have found a uniqueUsername.
  • 10. Choose a password you will remember but someone elsewon’t be able to guess. Write the password in a safeplace. If you lose your password, on of your teachersusing Edmodo can reset it for you. Don’t try and make anew account just because you forget your password!
  • 11. Edmodo gives you the option of including your emailaddress. This is for receiving alerts from Edmodo, whichwe will talk about in a later tutorial. You can add an emailaccount later if you decide you want to use it.
  • 12. Enter your real first and last names. This helps the teacheridentify who you are when you sign up for a class. Teachers maydelete you from the class page if they don’t know who you are.
  • 13. Click on the link and read the “Terms of Service”.
  • 14. Once you have read the “Terms of Service”, Click “Sign Up”…
  • 15. … And you are now at your “Home Page”! Congrats!
