  4. 4. Characteristics of 21st Century Learners Learners expect to:  Be engaged in active and hands on learning  Develop their own inquiry knowledge  Learn without isolation
  5. 5. Active & Hands On Learning - Explore ideas in their own ways - Teacher is a facilitator - Create applications for new knowledge
  6. 6. Inquiry Learning  Knowledge grows at an exponential rate  Used to help gather facts  Develop an accessible “data base” of information
